WELCOME TO
COLEMAN’S LANDING
Imagining the future of a
thriving Trimble County.
THE VISION
Coleman’s Landing is a vision for what a recently acquired piece of land in Trimble County could become: a real, working community where folks can put down roots, age in place near the people they love, find a good job close to home, and welcome visitors who want to slow down and experience the beauty of rural Kentucky.
Rooted in Bedford’s story and surrounded by preserved farmland and natural landscape, the vision is centered on community, connection, and a slower pace of life.
Once home to the historic Halloran Farm, this 200-acre site on the edge of Bedford is being reimagined through the redevelopment of a former brownfields property identified and assessed through the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection Brownfields Program. What once sat vacant now represents an opportunity to bring new life to the land while honoring its history.
CULTIVATING a nature-INSPIRED
village in Bedford, Kentucky
Embracing the rolling landscape and natural beauty of Trimble County, we envision neighborhoods nestled among the trees, where front porches face neighbors and backyards open up to trails and green space.
The vision draws from the area’s agricultural roots, historic sites,
natural landscape, and small-town pace.
Rather than creating something generic, Coleman’s Landing
will feel like it could only belong here.
Built from the character of Bedford.
